Jim Hayes Portfolio : Yahoo Smarties multiuser game
Introduction :
A shockwave multi user game on behalf of Yahoo! / Smarties, this game was based on connect 4 and enabled live game play over the web via a shockwave multi user server. The game also included a messaging/chat application. I implemented both client and server side lingo code for this application.

Unfortunately this site is now offline, and I no longer have access to a multiuser server to host a copy, so a screenshot is all you get in this instance.
Main Screen
The main view of the Game. It's essentially "Connect 4", with the slight variation that any row of 4 matching pieces is removed, and pieces above them fall down.
The game is played until either the board is filled up, the winner being the one with most points, or the winner reaches 3000 points
There is a simple player to player chat in addition.
